Tina Hellberg: Color combinations

Before I get to today’s post – I’m over on Julie’s Blog today sharing a cause that is near and dear to my heart for her If Bloggers Ruled The World series. And while you’re there, look around – Julip Made is one of my favorite daily reads!

I discovered Scandinavian interior stylist Tina Hellberg on one of my epic getting-lost-in-the-depths-of-the-internet sessions. Her clean and fresh esthetic is beautifully expressed in the Color Combinations shoot she did with photographer Magnus Anesund for ELLE Interiör – the Swedish version of Elle Decor which I sadly knew nothing about until today. I’m sure I’ll be spending lots of hours browsing the archives making up for lost time…so what if I can’t read (or speak) Swedish. The DIY or DIE section is a crafters’ DREAM. I know my word doesn’t mean much considering my crafting attempts usually have disastrous results, but seriously, it’s legit.

So without further ado, here is some decor eye-candy to brighten your Wednesday!

I giggled in knowing agreement with this sentence: “epic getting-lost-in-the-depths-of-the-internet sessions.” That’s basically a daily occurrence for me, and it’s out of hand ;) You ticked all the boxes for me: Scandinavian, interiors, simple color palettes. Love!

Thank you again for participating Kate! I really enjoying reading your responses and definitely feel similarly about some of the questions especially the “how has blogging changed your life” question. I wish we lived closer so we could commiserate over cocktails! xo

  3. love them all and that DIY chair idea is brilliant…so simple and fun.

  4. Wow the contrasts are brilliant and beautiful. I would not think of putting most of those combinations together but they look so sophisticated!!! Leave it to the Swedes.

I loved your post over on Julip Made. What a great series! Of course, I lost track of time reading a handful. ;)
Glad you stumbled upon this stylist. Hellberg’s work is unique and eye catching. I think my favorite color palette is the last photo.
