Well, all the main changes for the blog design update are done! We are still working on tweaking a few details here and there but otherwise this is the new TFW home, what do you guys think?? I would love to hear your thoughts.
I wanted to keep the look simple and clean but still add a few elements like the “L.A. Loves” tab up top to keep all my favorite local themed posts in one place – plus an easy to navigate, more organized side bar.
The little “Ta-da” image came from one of my favorite new discoveries – the very talented illustrator Amy Borrell. Her illustrations are sweet, clever and a little bit humerous. Here are a few of my favorites from her well stocked Etsy shop:

Oh, Kate! It’s beautiful, really well done. It’s clean and fresh and wonderfully personal. I love all the category links on the side with a picture behind them. Also, I’m dying from the giant cat in a beret and striped shirt with a little tiny moustache. I seriously cannot take how adorable that is. Bravo on your redesign and happy Monday! xo

Well, you know how I feel, but I’m going to tell you again – Love it! Great job, Kate. I also really like how you organized everything, and all the little design treatments are sweet. I bet it feels good to have your ideas come to fruition. Among other things, I find the blog design part of having a blog to be really fun. There is always something new you can add or tweak.
