When I got married almost three years ago (wow) I started and stopped the planning process three times. In fact, it was such a huge source of stress and anxiety over where to actually have the wedding (I’m from N.Y. hubby is from Florida but we live in L.A.) the guest list and budget that we ended up running away to Hawaii and trying the knot barefoot on the beach, just us and 6 other people. When my best friend got engaged a few weeks ago my wedding planning instincts miraculously kicked in, so don’t be surprised if a few wedding themed posts pop up on the blog over the next few months, starting with my favorite wedding stationery picks below.
Rifle Paper Co. is run by a husband and wife team out of Florida. The whimsical designs are hand painted and personalized to fit each couple’s personality. They also offer a lovely selection of journals, coasters, note cards and all sort of other goodies.
I’ve been slightly obsessed with Love Vs. Design for quite some time now, spending questionable amounts of time ogling the different invites, menus and save-the-date designs. L.V.D. also offers a very cost-effective option of doing the printing yourself in addition to a generous selection of free printables.
Paper Made is a recent discovery for me. The illustrations are hand drawn and the lettering is still done the old-fashioned way, by hand.

So glad your my best friend, have exceptional taste and love planning, decorating & designing…your services will most def be put to work
So fun! I can’t wait to check these out for my wedding. Your friend is very lucky!
